Biography

Kelly DeFeo, CRNA, FNP, PhD is a pain management specialist with over 27 years of experience in anesthesia with 10 years of specialized experience in acute and chronic pain management. Her specialty is interventional pain management and complex pain conditions. She believes in a wholistic and patient centered approach to pain management. Her PhD concentration is on Natural healing. She has been the Owner Operator of Dynamic Anesthesia, PLLC in New Hampshire since 2005.

Kelly has provided Pain related care for PainCare in North Conway and Wolfboro, Dynamicare in Tamworth, and served as director of Pain Clinic at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin with outreach clinic in North Conway. Kelly has served as past president of both Utah and New Hampshire Association of Nurse Anesthetists for multiple terms. She has also served state associations on the Board of Directors, as Public Relations Chair, and Secretary Treasurer for multiple terms. Kelly served as clinical instructor for Pain Management fellowship students for both Texas Christian University Pain Fellowship Program and Jack Neary Advanced Pain Management Workshops nationally. She is a Peer Reviewer for Journal of American Association of Nurse Practitioners articles. She has published article for this Journal " How does pharmacogenetic testing alter the treatment course and patient response for chronic-pain patients in comparison with the current "trial-and-error" standard of care? "

Kelly has served on the Medical Cannabis Advisory council as FNP representative which implemented medical cannabis program for the state of New Hampshire. She is knowledgeable about the use of cannabis as medicine for her patient. She is an advocate for patients who feel that this is a modality may be useful for their conditions. She is a resource to community providers who refer patients to her for this modality. Kelly has also been integrally involved in the local school system working on fund raisers and helping to coordinate graduation activities to keep students safe. She been elected and has served on the Conway Budget committee.
