MAT is the use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Research shows that a combination of medication and therapy can successfully treat these disorders, and for some people struggling with addiction, MAT can help sustain recovery.
Stress testing: Electrocardiogram is used to measure your heart’s electrical activity during exercise on a treadmill. Your blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen levels are also monitored. Exercise time is usually 15 minutes.
VitalPatch: Wireless remote monitoring system used for continuous collection of heart rate, electrocardiography (ECG), heart rate variability, respiratory rate and activity. It is used to help detect possibly cardiac problems such as irregular heart rates.
